Rev Drs Robert & Marion Lim presents Neo Peng Hui with the Robert & Marion Lim Scholarship to study at the Nanyang Technological University. Peng Hui is the first recipient of this scholarship. We also present awards to our Top 3 PSLE students and gifts of appreciation to our volunteer tutors.

We also had a wonderful mini music performance put up by the students from Yellowren School Of Music.

Cape of Colours sponsors one Epson Interactive WXGA 3LCD Projector for Lighthouse School that benefits their hearing-impaired students. This touch-enabled interactive projector takes kinesthetic learning to new heights allowing the hearing-impaired students to physically interact with the image or lesson that is projected onto the whiteboard and functions like a smart-board.

Cape of Colours officially launched our library for the students of our Free Tuition Programme. A BIG Thank You to all our donors who had generously donated items or supported us at our recent Cape of Colours Fundraising Bazaar. All proceeds from the bazaar will be used to acquire new library books and we have added 148 new books to date. Our library enables children in our Free Tuition Programme to cultivate a habit of reading through the wide variety of books.

The students also had an awesome time of partnership to bring cheers to the residents of a home for the disabled, featuring wonderful band and dance performances from Si Ling Secondary School.

Cape of Colours launches her 3rd BRIDGE Project in collaboration with Canberra Secondary School to purchase a portable cabin that will complement the school's "Butterfly Lodge," an after-school drop-in centre for at-risk students. The cabin will be utilised to conduct various activities, lessons, programmes and the initiation of entrepreneur projects that will benefit the students who are at risk of dropping out of school.

Cape of Colours partners YACHT 21, a Singapore-based designer label to present a designer suitcase bag to each of the 15 students from Northbrooks Secondary School in conjunction with a "Bag for Bag" initiative. As the bags are still in production, the students were presented vouchers to exchange for their bags when they are delivered to the school. YACHT 21 will be generously donating a designer suitcase bag to benefit the students under Cape of Colours for every bag that is sold at their stores.

This clay-sculpturing workshop is organized by Yellowren Productions and conducted by Pang+Kanako over 2 days for the children who are visually or hearing impaired or has intellectual challenges. Their collective artworks will be part of the exhibition, “Art from the Heart” at Yellowren Arts Festival 2013.

Cape of Colours purchases two sets of SmartView 360 for Lighthouse School under the Bridge Project. The SmartView 360 is an electronic desktop magnifier that empowers students with low vision in their learning. The students are able to place any reading material within the range of the camera to enlarge the words they are reading.

Cape of Colours sponsors the students of Northland Secondary School under the GEMS Programme two Panasonic Lumix Digital cameras. We also conduct our first session of hands-on videography training with the students of Northland Secondary School under the BRIDGE Project.

Cape of Colours launches her 2nd BRIDGE Project in collaboration with Northland Secondary School to sponsor the Sec 3 and 4 at-risk youths in its GEMS Programme on a 7-day trip to Hainan Island, China. The youths will participate in both community works and cultural exchange.
